Roblar Winery and Vineyards

Roblar Winery And Cooking School is a lovely place to taste wine. The main tasting room is reminiscent of a mountain lodge with its huge fireplace and open timber construction. There are picnic tables scattered about and a trellis-covered patio to enjoy during the warm weather.

Our wine server was welcoming and informative. When she told us that if we both became Wine Club members at the same time, each of us may purchase any bottle of wine for just $1.00, we couldn't resist! YES, we both became Roblar Wine Club Members and each snagged a $52 bottle of wine for $1.00.

As we were about to leave, I asked if it were possible to tour the vineyards. It turns out, we were in luck! We were treated to a guided tour of the vineyards and winery in a golf cart. Our driver explained how Roblar uses sustainable agricultural practices throughout the property. Biodynamic agriculture is the latest trend in winemaking; both sustainable and organic.

You won't find Roblar wines in any retail outlet or restaurant. Roblar only sell its wines directly to visitors, wine club members and through their web site. All the more reason to stop by. Highly recommended!

Tastings cost $14 each and includes a glass.
