Santa Barbara County is the southern-most county of California’s rugged Central Coast. This coastline lies between Ventura and San Luis Obispo on US 101/State Route 1.
Whether you arrive from the north or south, the Pacific Coast Highway is one of the most scenic drives in California.
US 101 and SR 1 run concurrently in this area. It’s the main artery through town.
Drive north from LA or south
from San Luis Obispo on US 101, and you
can’t miss Santa Barbara!
Need to rent a car? There are several car rental agencies in town. Click here to find your perfect Santa Barbara car rental.
Would you rather look at the scenery than drive your own car? Going wine tasting? Santa Barbara is full of professionals who would love to drive you around safely.
Airport shuttle services often provide wine tasting limos. Some will even rent just a chauffeur-for-a-day.

Silver Air is an up-an-coming charter jet company in Santa Barbara. Their web site (www.silverair.com) is hard to find with a Google Search and it’s not listed on the Santa Barbara airport web site.
This is a true word-of-mouth find. One of the

arranged 24/7 with as little as 2 hours notice.
